The last couple of days have been so nice and sunny, we have enjoyed it by taking the kids for walks every afternoon. We usually push Evan and Ellie in their little cars and Emma rides her bike or scooter. This is a nice change from being confined in the house hiding out from germs!
Speaking of germs..... today we did something other than enjoying the great weather....we spent the afternoon in the E.R.! Ellie needs monthly labs drawn to check her electrolyte's and her liver function. So this month the nurse had a hard time getting Ellie's little veins to cooperate, so he did a heal stick instead. Well today our pediatrician called to say that she had the results and that the potassium level was 10! She figured that this was not correct but because we never know what the little miss is up to :) we were sent down to the E.R. to get the correct labs. So after being exposed to all the lovely germs that the E.R. has to offer, we found out that her potassium is 4.5. So all is well once again in the Wood household!.
